Darfur Week Events

Darfur Week is about empowering students and Franciscan colleges and universities to do three things:   refuse to ignore the crisis in Darfur and the failure of the international community to respond effectively, unite with Darfur advocates from Franciscan campuses across the country and act to use our collective voice to compel our leaders and our own communities to take all possible steps to resolve the crisis in Darfur. Our biggest asset in accomplishing these goals is YOU - your passion for peace in Darfur, your commitment to doing whatever peace in Darfur requires and your creativity in figuring out how to do it most effectively. We want Darfur Week events to reflect the campuses on which they take place and the passion, commitment and creativity of those who live and work there. Here's a few suggestions for Darfur Week events based on the interconnected themes of refuse to ignore, unite and act ......

REFUSE TO IGNORE | UNITE | ACT
