FI Religious Freedom Program:

In response to the growing plight of Christian minorities in Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and other countries, FI is building a coalition of partners to work toward a resolution on the universal right of freedom of religion. FI advocates for the equal status of all religions to eliminate preferential treatment to certain religious groups at the expense of others. FI Geneva serves as Vice-Chair NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion. The Committee is designed to work together with the UN Special Rapporteur on Religious Freedom to provide information on violations of religious freedom and make appeals to delegates of the UN Commission on Human Rights.
