Human Rights Campaign: thanks to those who contributed to its success!
The first annual FI Human Rights Campaign launched during the Season of Advent has been a great success. The Campaign is meant to promote an understanding of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights among young people.
FI would like to thank all the schools and parishes that participated, and we especially want to highlight the efforts of Archbishop Curley High School, in Baltimore, US, which ran an Essay Competition to promote the struggle for human rights and the unique ministry of FI at the UN.
We intend to replicate this Competition around the globe.
Congratulations to the winners: Zach Salkowski , who wrote on human trafficking, Matthew Mayeski , who wrote on human rights and the environment and Jake Linhart , who also wrote on the environment. And, thanks to all the students and teachers who supported and participated.
