FI submits a joint statement at the Human Rights Council on Haiti
We would like to share with you the joint statement that FI and a group of Catholic-inspired NGOs, presented during the Special Session of the UN Human Rights Council on the emergency situation that Haiti is facing after the disastrous earthquake of 12 of January.

The work of Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs), including Catholic organisations, has been highly appreciated by the Secretary General of the UN, John Holmes, the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, as well as by many of the countries involved in the humanitarian assistance to Haiti.
